Total Commander is a file manager, a program like Windows Explorer to copy, move or delete files. However, Total Commander can do much more than Explorer, e.g. pack and unpack files, access ftp , compare files by content, etc!

- Windows installer now supports Windows Vista
- Let the user choose between horizontal and vertical icon arrangement in 2 window mode
- Let the user choose smaller icon sizes: 8x8,12x12,16x16 pixels on QVGA devices, 16x16,24x24,32x32 on VGA
- New icons from TC7 for Windows now also in the Pocket version
- A few new documented internal commands (see help)
Requirements:
- A Pocket PC or Pocket PC phone device: The text "PocketPC" or "Windows-Powered" should be on the device!
- The supported processors are: ARM, XSCALE, MIPS, SH3
- A Windows PC with installed ActiveSync >=3.x (for installing from a Mac, see below)
- A version for other Windows CE devices is available separately, as well as a smartphone version
- This program does NOT work on a Palm, Clie or Epoc system!
- Copy, Move whole subdirs
- Inplace rename, create dirs
- Delete (no recycle bin)
- Zip and unzip
- Properties dialog, change attributes
- Built-in text editor
- Search function (also for text)
- Select/unselect groups of files
- Select with [Sel] button
